F5 announced its intent to acquire CalypsoAI (from Dublin, Ireland), and will integrate CalypsoAI’s adaptive AI security technologies into its application delivery and security platform. F5 likes the look of CalypsoAI’s adversarial threat protection technology (e.g., protecting against prompt injection and jailbreak attacks), guardrails for securing sensitive data, and access to unified visibility and governance over AI activity. - Abnormal AI achieves ISO 42001 certification. Abnormal AI announced that it has met the requirements for the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification – which focuses on AI Management Systems and hence governance and responsible use, among other aspects. ISO 42001 is the world’s first international management system standard specifically designed for AI.
