Following a ransomware attack in July that disabled core security systems, thieves cut their way into the museum and helped themselves to 6kg of gold. Cybercrime and physical crime are converging. - Infostealer for Macs. Lastpass uncovered fraudulent GitHub repositories distributing infostealer malware targeting Macs. The malware being distributed, known as Atomic Stealer, has been active since at least April 2023 and is associated with financially motivated cybercrime groups.
