News for today:

  • Update from Check Point and Wiz. Check Point rolled out an integrated cloud network security offering that encompasses Wiz’s cloud application security technology. Enables cloud and application security with real-time visibility and risk-aware remediation. It’s in global availability today. Check Point
  • Claude Sonnet 4.5 released. Anthropic released version 4.5 of Claude Sonnet, its model for coding and building complex agents. Anthropic says it is their most aligned frontier model yet. Claude’s improved capabilities and our extensive safety training have allowed us to substantially improve the model’s behavior, reducing concerning behaviors like sycophancy, deception, power-seeking, and the tendency to encourage delusional thinking. For the model’s agentic and computer use capabilities, we’ve also made considerable progress on defending against prompt injection attacks, one of the most serious risks for users of these capabilities.
