  • Cribl Guard for sensitive data protection. Cribl announced a new product – Cribl Guard – for detecting and protecting sensitive data in telemetry data, such as PII, as it flows through Cribl Stream. Shifts detection from pattern-matching approaches (e.g., regex) to advanced AI with a human-in-the-loop control point. Cribl Guard’s proactive and intelligent approach ensures organizations not only reduce their risk profile but also significantly streamline compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.   • Absolute AI Assistant and other innovations for endpoint security. Absolute released the Absolute AI Assistant, for answering questions via GenAI on the security and compliance status of endpoint devices protected by Absolute Secure Endpoint. AI Assistant allows security teams to get answers on security posture using natural language queries. In addition, there are new dashboarding capabilities for presenting data to streamline anomaly detection, streamline operations, and make better decisions on endpoint posture. Absolute Security
  • Cohesity virtual conference September 17-18. Cohesity is hosting a three-hour virtual conference in three geo regions on September 17 and 18, on strategies for protecting organizational data. Cohesity’s CEO is presenting a keynote (on resilient organizations and operating confidently in today’s threat environment), the Chief Product Officer is talking faster attack recovery, and industry experts and customers will address complementary topics around protection, response and recovery, and orchestrating recovery.   • Microsoft 365 patching via Adaptiva. Adaptiva updated its OneSite Patch autonomous endpoint management solution with native patching support for Microsoft 365. Allows IT teams to distribute Microsoft 365 updates within OneSite Patch, eliminating the need for manual blob generation and custom packaging.
