  • Counteracting North Korea’s fake IT worker program. The US, Japan, and South Korea are taking additional steps to counteract North Korea’s efforts to infiltrate global organizations with North Korean IT operatives. Under the program, North Korean programmers pose as freelancers using fake identities and locations, in order to gain cash for the North Korean government’s weapons program.
