  • Deepfake attack against Darktrace leadership. An audio deepfake purportedly from Darktrace’s CEO was delivered to her leadership team while she was in a meeting. Jill, the CEO, spoke about the incident at a recent conference. The Times
  • Sekuro acquired by Insight for AUD$5.3 billion. Sekuro, a cybersecurity company headquartered in Australia, was acquired by Insight for AUD$5.3 billion. Sekuro’s services help clients build resiliency by offering a range of services such as designing, building, securing, and optimising public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms to help businesses secure their network and applications.   • Jaguar Land Rover cyberattack cost. The cyberattack against Jaguar Land Rover is estimated to cost £1.9 billion – the most expensive ever in UK history. The flow-on effects of the attack have been severe, and full recovery isn’t anticipated until early 2026. More than half of the cost will be shouldered by JLR itself including loss of earnings and the cost of recovery. The rest is estimated to be incurred by the 5,000 firms in JLR’s supply chain, as well as the local economy including hospitality and other services. BBC
