- KnowBe4 research on personalization in phishing. KnowBe4’s analysis of its phishing simulation messages found that personalized emails, especially from HR and IT departments, drive the highest interaction rates among employees. KnowBe4 says personalization increased click rate in simulated phishing emails – the two most-clicked subject lines contained the recipients’ company name and 82% of the top 20 clicked links in simulated phishing emails came from internally themed simulations.
