News for today:

  • 1Password on the access-trust gap. 1Password’s annual report for 2025 is on the Access-Trust Gap, that is, the divide between data and systems that [1] IT and security teams can secure and control and [2] how workers actually access sensitive data. Assertion: Organizations are asking yesterday’s identity tools to govern a cloud-native, AI-accelerated workplace. That disconnect has caused the Access-Trust Gap. If organizations want resilience and speed, the industry must treat access as continuous, context-aware, and largely invisible, protecting every app, every tool, and every identity while letting employees get on with the work. 1Password

Immersive released a hyper-realistic training / lab / practice experience for Google SecOps, so security teams can build expertise and cyber readiness in dealing with real-to-life cyber threat incidents. Immersive One’s support for Google SecOps is a core capability that equips security teams with the confidence and practical skills needed to use Google’s platform effectively. Immersive

F5 and CrowdStrike announced new workload security for F5 BIG-IP – F5’s application delivery platform – via CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor and the Falcon Adversary OverWatch managed threat hunting service. Eligible BIG-IP customers can get the CrowdStrike’s services at no charge. Assertion: We’re taking a bold step to move cybersecurity forward: normalizing the deployment of detection and response sensors across every attack surface, including network appliances. We’re pleased to take the first step by embedding CrowdStrike Falcon and OverWatch onto F5 BIG-IP. The Falcon platform has become essential for securing the modern enterprise. (If it wants to retain customers after the F5 security incident of 2025, this alliance is an essential defensive move). CrowdStrike
